Field Trips
This month’s Spanish immersion “field trip” is a very special one! We are excited to be holding a baking class in Spanish. A good friend and amazing Pastry Chef Leah from Sweet Idea Catering will be teaching the children how to bake Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins. The children will not only be practicing the language, they will be learning to bake and writing down the recipe. Chef Leah just moved to Austin from New York and is starting off her cooking classes with Mariposas students. She is also offering Mariposas families a 10% discount for any baked good orders this month. Please read her short bio below.
